DIRECTOR & STUDIO LEAD
Matt Scott
RIBA
With over 20 years of experience in architecture and urban design, Matt has worked for several successful practices, building a diverse skill set across design and management. He has experience in multiple sectors, though his expertise lies in creative placemaking, where he integrates masterplanning, urban design, and architecture – especially within large-scale residential and residential-led mixed-use developments.
Matt is also enthusiastic about the creative re-use of existing buildings and harnesses the power of architecture to regenerate urban environments, delivering exciting, meaningful places that add real value. He creates pragmatic, contemporary design that is responsive to both the immediate environment and the broader context and is always shaped by a sustainable ethos.
From early-stage visioning and strategic masterplanning through to detailed design and construction, Matt has developed a thorough understanding of the development process in particular residential development, this enables him to consistently deliver designs that strike the right balance between good placemaking, sustainability, and commercial deliverability.
Outside of his professional life, Matt’s time is spent with his family, but he also loves sport, whether playing, watching, or coaching, and is always keen to chat about anything that is happening in the sporting world!
